Brea's Story...
The California Crew, like so many others, were an “oops litter” that were conceived while human Mom was making a trip cross country (to California ;). Luckily, human mom wants to do what’s best for Mama Lola and her puppies; that’s where RHAR comes in!

The California Crew is a litter of eight (8) heeler/pit puppies that were born on August 17/18; there is Lotus (F), Sonoma (F), Perris (F), Brea (F), Bonita (F), Chester (M), Berkeley (M), and Avery (M).

They will be ready to leave for their forever home on October 20th!
We are prescreening applicants that are serious about adding a new addition to their family; you can fill out an adoption application at www.rhar.org! Each puppy will be up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and started on flea and heartworm preventative.

Depending on which breed is more dominant, they will likely need regular exercise or a yard to run around in.

The adoption fee will be $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brea, a Aurora Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
