Young Seal-Point Siamese/Himalayan Snowshoe Brothers
Pictures don’t quite tell the whole story. Here you see a pair of gorgeous young Siamese/Himalayan brothers. Yes, these 2 youngsters are the real deal! Sadly, these boys have suffered more abuse and neglect in their short lives than most cats will in a lifetime. This is the story of Lito and Loti, a sweet pair of inseparable Siamese/Himalayan brothers.
Lito and Loti were rescued by Philadelphia Animal Control after being abandoned, left
alone in a vacant rental property for days, with no food or water. Their owners had been evicted. Both cats were extremely dehydrated, starving and simply left to die. Fortunately, the landlord stopped in to check on the abandoned property, because in another few days, it would have been too late.
But the horror did not stop there. Lito and Loti then had to be separated and held by Animal Control for 5 days to allow the owners time to come to the shelter and claim them. They were traumatized at this point, and would not eat or drink. Fortunately, as expected, no one came looking. Perhaps these people understood they’d likely be arrested for animal cruelty.
Shortly after arriving in Stray Cat Blues foster care, both cats became seriously ill with the shelter-acquired calici virus. Lito was nearly lost. He required injectable fluids multiple times daily because of severe dehydration. He lost 30% of his body weight in less than 2 weeks.
But Lito and Loti have fully recovered since their illness and gained back most of the weight they had lost. They are thriving and as good as new!
As you can see, these boys are absolutely gorgeous. They hold no grudges after the
abuse they have suffered. They are the two sweetest cats on the planet. Both are lovebugs,
lap cats and can be cradled like babies. They will purr non-stop! It is incomprehensible that
these brothers are still so trusting to humans after coming from an abusive situation. But
they truly are.
All these 1-year-old kittens want is to be loved and cared for. We are not certain about their
exact age, but one vet said they could be as young as 10 months old, another 12-18 months.
They are not yet full grown. But Lito and Loti are only looking forward to their “forever
home”, where they will never again be abandoned or separated!
Both Lito and Loti are fully vetted and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting these handsome youngsters, please email Barry, firstname.lastname@example.org, ,or call
