Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Phelps, 10 months, was rescued from MCACC last month and named in honor of the Olympics Opening Ceremonies that day. After recovering from pneumonia, he’s bounced back…literally. He is a bit of a jumping bean; full of energy and sass.
He adores other dogs, and could play all day. Phelps’ high energy would be perfect for dock diving, agility, and obedience. Speaking of obedience, we don’t think he ever had any before. He is very smart and learned basic commands in hours. However, he needs someone who will be committed to emphasizing the basics with him.
This is the perfect dog for someone interested in a constant companion – hiking, classes, running, and more. A small Doberman at 45lbs, we think he actually may be part German Pinscher. His adorable crop n’ flop makes for super-cute photos and also makes it hard to say no to him. He does well in a crate and will make someone very happy!
