Cricket's Story...
Meet Cricket! She is approximately 5 years old and weighs 18 pounds. She recently had a dental cleaning and presurgical blood work all in the normal ranges. She appears to be hypoglycemic and will have seizures if she is not given small meals often throughout the day. She is very friendly and playful. Knows how to sit up and beg. Plays fetch and will always return and drop the item for you to throw again. she is housebroken and crate trained. Walks well on a leash. She is good with children and a great companion for older adults. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy. The adoption fee for males is $175 and for females it is $200. If you are interested in Cricket, please contact Gail Posey at 678-361-7304 or email pspp_inc@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket, a Cedartown Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Cedartown, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Cedartown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedartown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedartown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedartown paves the way for another one to be saved.
