Sophia's Story...
Sophia is our exotic beauty! She has three unique features to her beauty. She is a female and orange, she has mackerel stripes and she is a bobtail! Sophia had five kittens while being boarded at an animal hospital. She took care of her kittens there but then the office got so busy and Sophia's search for a home got placed on the back burner. Luckily, we had an opening so now Sophia can search for her forever home. She is very affectionate and loves attention. She is also independent in that she is creative and thinks of all sorts of ways to entertain herself. Just give her a cardboard box and she will play for a long time. She is a diva and life would be easier on her if she was the only kitty where she can shine. A treasure! Please fill out our online application on our website and call or email us. Thanks! SOPHIA IS CURRENTLY RESIDING AT THE PETSMART IN PLAINVILLE SO PLEASE STOP AND MEET HER.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Bristol American Bobtail cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bobtail for sale in Bristol, or seeking a American Bobtail cat from a breeder in Bristol.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bristol already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bristol breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bobtail breeders who help with American Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bristol paves the way for another one to be saved.
