Mamas's Story...
Mamas is about 5-7 years old. She's a silly goof ball that loves toys and playing hide and seek under the blankets. She has a tail that doesn’t quit and a youthful heart. Mamas not only has spirit and heart—she has OUR hearts. Mamas has even started our group training classes!

Originally part of our Shelter Dog Program™, Mamas became an official One Love dog after a shelter visit when we noticed she was quickly declining. One of our amazing fosters stepped up and because she was in such poor condition at the time, we prepared for a hospice foster. Well, things couldn't have gone in any more of the opposite direction-- Mamas made a full recovery and not only got better but is THRIVING.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mamas, a Mesa American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Mesa, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
