Omisace's Story...
Omisace also known as "Omi" is a recent owner surrender who we are still learning more about. She is an elder gal around 8 eyars old and is opening up to everyone at the shelter. While she may be missing fur due to a flea allergy she is not missing a beat on melting out hearts with her sweet nature. Her previous owners stated she was having issues using her little box, however since in our care we have not seen any problems. Omi is spayed and will be up to date on shots and rabies in the near future after an exam from our vet. Interested in making Omisace a member of your family, please give us a call 757-365-6318 or email us at animalservices@isleofwightus.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Omisace, a Windsor Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Windsor, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Windsor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windsor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windsor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windsor paves the way for another one to be saved.
