Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Red!
I’m just here for the cookies! I’m reaching out because I need a Thunder Buddy, asap! You’re my ideal person if your favourite club in school was the Book Club, and your favourite food is anything yummy and smelly. We might match if you have some anxiety too, because we might just understand each other a little better than others.
Would you be my friend if I told you that, even though I can be really shy or nervous, I try really hard to be the best I can be in everything? Men are a little scary but I try to warm up to them if they are patient with me, I’ll be the Shadow to your Pan, the Tongue to your Peanut Butter, the Wag to your Tail! There’s a thing – is it called children? Anyway, what is up with them? They’re weird and little and fast and scary!
Would you be willing to come and spend some time with me? I need to make sure you’re good people, I’m sure you understand! I also go to some classes, I think the humans called them “Confidence Classes”, once or twice a week – here’s what happens: I go in a big room, and I get tons of yummy treats! Easy, right?! I would love to attend them with you too! My favourite place I’ve ever been is a lap. I’m not your usual party girl, I’m happy to be at home with a lap, but I do try very hard when I’m taken out for new, positive experiences. OH! and hiking I love that!
Want to come hang out with me? I’ll share my favourite treats!"

Name: Red
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year
Approx.size/weight when full grown: 30lbs medium height
Breed: Pitbull Beagle Mix
History:
She was surrendered due to the owners having too many animals. She is shy to start but loves to sit with someone and have cuddles. We are working on her separation anxiety. She is good with dogs. She seems good with cats also. She finds kids scary so a home with out kids is a must. She needs a yard as she prefers to not do her business on leash
Adoption status: Available for Foster to Adopt
