Play's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Play's Story...
Play was found on a dirt road with his brother and sisters. Each pup was dropped off in 1/2 mile increments. His brother and sister tragically died from parvo but he never caught it. he did however have a broken leg and we believe it was due to being tossed from a moving vehicle. He had 3 severe fractures. He spent 2 months in a cast, and a 1/2 month in a splint while growing up as a young pup. He runs, jumps and plays well with other dogs. He walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides, bones, and tennis balls. He is very shy at first, but attaches to humans very quickly. He just wants to be loved. He does well with dogs, cats, and kiddos. Happy go lucky guy that is very thankful to be with us, but would love to have a new home. Adoption fee covers vaccinations, spay/neuter, and flea/tick/de-worming treatment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Play, a Woodward Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Woodward, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Woodward.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodward already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodward breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodward paves the way for another one to be saved.
