Alberta's Story...
M16-196 Alberta
I'm Alberta! Young as I am, I have learned to pose so you can see all my beautiful stripes and rings. I'm what you call a ring tabby. I'm beautiful and also very poised! I was born in May and left in some nice people's yard. They weren't quite ready for a new kitty, so they sent me to Magicats. I've been visiting in their foster homes, and polishing my skills with other cats and adult humans so I'll be ready for a wonderful INSIDE ONLY FOREVER HOME. Take a good look at me, because I might be the one you've been waiting for. I'm spayed, current on my immunizations, and negative for FIV/FELV. I do fine with other cats and adults, and maybe some responsible older young people, but frankly, I don't know much about little kids or dogs, so please be careful to make sure the kids are cat-smart, the dog is friendly and the introduction is careful. My coat is short and easy care. My foster mom says I take the prize as best cuddler.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alberta, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
