Simone's Story...
I'm Simone, the sweetest little pup in my litter. I am adorably cute and really smart and sweet. My favorite toys are a tennis ball and squeaky toys. When I am tired out, I love to fall asleep in my foster mom's lap. I get along great with other dogs because all I want to do is play. I am doing very well with crate training as I sleep through the night without whining or crying. I am also doing well on house training, though I am not quite 100% just yet. But I do give great signals that I need to go by stopping my play and sniffing around. That means it's time to get me outside. With regular breaks outside, I always take care of business. Because I am still so young, I will need to be crated when you are gone because I am teething and like to chew, but that won't be for much longer. To adopt the greatest little lap puppy in the world, please email info@habitat4paws.org to find out how to adopt me!

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simone, a McKinney Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
