found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Rex has all the qualities of the boxer. Family oriented, short coat (minimal shedding), loyal, affectionate and quiet. As well, he doesn't drool, and he is good with both dogs and cats.
Rex is housebroken as well as crate trained. He was found very thin ,so we are working on putting weight on him. He came to us on September 10th, weighing 51lbs, but we believe his ideal weight would be 56lbs. He is currently fed three meals a day, with canned food mixed Into a high protein dry food.
Rex is very easygoing. He loves to curl up.on the couch and just chill. He is a low energy dog. He loves car rides and travels very well. At night he sleeps up.in the couch but according to his previous foster Mom, he loves to snuggle in bed with the family members.
One thing to note, he doesn't like bicycles. He doesn't mind motorcycles, just not bycles. He barks at them when he sees someone riding one.
Rex is always happy. You have to mind his constant wagging tail, it's like a whip, as it was never docked.
Ideal home for Rex? A fully fenced yard, kids, a family who lets him up on the couch, a family that loves and appreciates the breed. He will require two walks a day, using a body harness not a flat collar.
Rex is neutered, up to date with vaccines, Inclouding Bordetella, dewormed, Heartworm tested negative, and was given heartworm and flea prevention for September.
