My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Alice (HWTH#16309A). She is a Labrador Retriever mix, DOB: 8/14/14. Alice weighs approximately 50-55 pounds and stands 21 inches at the shoulders. She was relinquished to Halfway to Home by a person who had too many dogs to adequately feed and who terribly neglected her. Alice is a most loving girl who is starved for attention, has had little or no leash training and is timid due to lack of socialization. She responds very well to affection and gives small kisses. She will need an owner willing to give her time to adjust to a loving home and will give her the affection, good-quality human companionship, structure and in time, the training she will need to become the amazing canine companion she is meant to be. She is used to sleeping outdoors and may need a little time to adjust to being in a house. Alice will benefit from positive basic obedience training but only after she is thoroughly comfortable in her new Forever home. She is good with other dogs and is beginning crate trained. For more information on Alice, please contact Suzanne at tele # 661-824-4495.

Alice likes to go on hikes (photo 3). Photo 4 shows Alice at the dog park.
