Fred-GENTLE - GINGER's BFF's Story...
I like to lay my head in your hand and politely ask for attention. I’m FRED, one of the sweetest kitties ever (once I know I’m safe). Gentle, very affectionate, and a Lap Cat too. Catnip toys and balls are my favorites. I am cautious in my approach to the world and need a calmer, quieter home with no young kids (ever). GINGER is my best friend, gives me confidence, and we really love each other. We are very bonded, an AWEsome pair and are the only kitties you’ll ever need!

** FRED is estimated to be 3. He and GINGER are a bonded pair and their special adoption fee is $215. Come see them at the Aurora PETSMART (976 S. Rt. 59, just north of Meijer) -- starting Saturday 9/17 after 1:00! WALK-IN ADOPTION HOURS at that location are 1-4:00 on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS -- NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.

** For more information or to schedule a weekday appointment, please email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com. (Our phones are currently under maintenance, and will be available again shortly.)

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fred-GENTLE - GINGER's BFF, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
