Aiden's Story...
If you are looking for a very best friend and sidekick, Aiden just may be your boy! He is so sensitive and sweet, loves to lounge and watch his favorite shows, and he loves to give kisses. He likes to follow you wherever you go, and he happily wags his tail every time you even look at him. He rides great in the car, and would love to be your travel buddy. He is 2 years old and weighs 9 lbs. He is low-medium energy, and he is very friendly with all people, he has never met a stranger. He is house trained. He gets along great with dogs and cats, but his primary focus is on his human. He is house trained and crate trained, but he is not a big fan of the crate. He prefers a home where someone will be home more often than not. He truly bonds fast with his humans. :). He loves to chew on cow hooves, and his happy little personality makes us smile and want to give him hugs and kisses...he is just SO sweet.

Aiden is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, has tested negative for heartworms, and he is also dewormed and current on trifexis. You can fill out an application for this gentle soul here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. Once received, his foster mom will be in touch ASAP. He is fostered in Huntsville, AL, but is available for adoption in your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aiden, a Chattanooga Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
