Daisy Mae's Story...
Hello there - I'm Daisy Mae, an athletic and beautiful pit mix who can't wait to find my next adventure buddy! I love hiking, exploring the world, and cuddling with volunteers. I'm also already crate trained and housebroken! Although shy at first, with gentle attention I warm up in no time and make friends easily. A home with young, exuberant children may be a bit much for me, but older quieter children would be just fine. A home without other animals would be best for me, but thankfully I have so much personality you won't need anyone else! At two years young, I have a full lifetime to share with my new person... could that lucky person be you? Come in and say hi to me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Mae, a Ithaca Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ithaca, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Ithaca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ithaca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ithaca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ithaca paves the way for another one to be saved.
