Caitlyn & Bruce's Story...
Our names are Caitlyn (black and white female) and Bruce (black male). We will be 9 years old on 2/14/17. Caitlyn weighs 5 pounds and Bruce is a whopping 6.8 pounds. To say that we are sweet is a real understatement. We are the sweetest little dogs in the world. Bruce has buck teeth so he speaks with a lisp but the teeth just make him even cuter. Caitlyn likes toys, treats, warm blankets and time outside. Bruce likes those things too but he waits for Caitlyn to make the first step. Caitlyn and Bruce would love to be adopted together but if that doesn't happen I know they will do well alone. If you think you would like to have 1 or 2 of these little cuties on your pillow please go to www.atailtotell.com to apply. A securely fenced yard is a requirement for Bruce and Caitlyn.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caitlyn & Bruce, a South Amboy Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in South Amboy, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in South Amboy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Amboy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Amboy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Amboy paves the way for another one to be saved.
