Champ's Story...
Champ is ready to start looking for his new home. We are guessing on the breed of this guy. At 12 to 13 weeks he was over 25 pounds. Champ is going to be a huge dog when full grown. He will not be suited for an apartment. He will need room to run and play. He gets along great with everyone he meets and doesn't seem to mind the cats. He has been started with basic commands and walking ok on a leash. He has been started with his vaccines and he has been wormed. He is also microchipped. Please email with any questions or if you would like an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champ, a Pikeville Newfoundland puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland for sale in Pikeville, or seeking a Newfoundland puppy from a breeder in Pikeville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pikeville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pikeville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland breeders who help with Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pikeville paves the way for another one to be saved.
