Parker's Story...
6 months
Brown tabby

Hi my name is Parker the Love Bunny. It’s embarrassing. That’s what my foster mom calls me. I guess it’s because I purr so loud and love being petted and picked up. I bug her most for pets and kisses in the morning when my sister Jenny and I jump on her bed and purr so loud that she has to get up and make a fuss over us. We roll around, head butt her hand so she keeps petting us. Then it’s breakfast time!! Yeah….then it’s play time!!

In addition to being very sweet and affection, I’m also very handsome – in case you hadn’t noticed! My tabby markings and golden eyes make me a stand out kitten.

I wasn’t always this outgoing. I needed time to trust since I was born outside in an industrial park. When my foster mom first rescued me, I was scared but with her kindness and gentle handling, I now trust and love being a house kitty. I probably will need a little adjustment time in a new home.

If you have other kitties, that’s great, too. I get along with my foster mom’s five adult cats. So does Jenny, although she and I enjoy playing together most of the time. If you happen to want two kitties, she would be a fun playmate for me, but that’s not necessary if you only want me.

Parker is neutered, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. He is also microchipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
