Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Friendship with the help of other people rescued a group of German Shepherds from Middle Ridge Road. All the dogs are very shy and unsocialized but not aggressive. Many will have a difficult time adjusting to a home, so they should go to families who have experience with shepherds and/or puppy mill dogs. They will need to learn manners, house training and leash walking among other dog skills. This is 6 year old Wilber. He thinks he's a lap dog:) Each day the dogs make tremendous progress and are happy gentle sweethearts.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
