Winnie's Story...
Meet Winnie, a happy, little 10-12 weeks old puppy, who loves to play hard and then snuggle up close with her favorite human companion. And she just weighed-in at a perfect 12 pounds, so she's just right for holding and cuddling. Winnie is super sweet and full of playful puppy energy, and she's ready and waiting to bond with a caring, forever family.
Of course, like all puppies, this canine cutie will need regular exercise, patient training, and lots of attention, in order to grow up happy and healthy.
Do you have room in your life for this lovable, little girl? If so, you can meet Winni at the Dog Adoption House, 8476 Highland Road, or contact pattidcarson@gmail.com, for more information. All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Baton Rouge Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
