Gunnar's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Gunnar's Story...
Gunnar is a 1 year old pittie mix we rescued out of Gwinnett County Animal Control. He was there for over a month and had so many shares and followers but nobody stepped up to rescue. We were asked to do a proper temperament test since the shelter labeled him as dog aggressive and wild. After just 5 minutes of interacting GUNNAR showed himself as the most wonderful young gentleman. He is great with other dogs yet had to learn how to intrude himself properly. He is wonderful with people. He might not be the perfect fit for a first time dog owner because he needs some basic manners bit he sits on command, walks great on a leash and does wonderful with corrections.
GUNNAR IS looking for a home with a fenced in yard, plenty of exercise and a buddy to play with would be awesome too. He also would do well as a single dog. He rides wonderful in the car and with some training he is the boy you can take with you everywhere....

His adoption fee is $250 which includes all his vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chip.

Please send us a message in order to receive an application. We are only able to meet with pre approved adopters by appointment since our organization is operating on foster homes only. We do not have a shelter available to the public.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunnar, a Lawrenceville Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lawrenceville, or seeking a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lawrenceville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceville paves the way for another one to be saved.
