Magoo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Magoo's Story...
Magoo is a teeny-tiny 1 to 2 year-old, black and white Long Haired Chihuahua mix, who had been dumped in an alley in a sealed box. Luckily this little guy was found by a good Samaritan and rushed to the vet just in time. Weighing around 5 lbs, Magoo is very much a lap dog who lives for human affection. Magoo is currently housed with multiple other dogs and does fine with them, but is mostly conceded about attention from humans. He's incredibly sweet, but can take a moment to warm up to new people initially, understandable seeing as the trauma he has been through. Magoo will make a fantastic companion for a mellow, adult-only household that will treat him like the little prince he is for the rest of his days. Magoo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magoo, a Eugene Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Eugene, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
