My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY LISTING for DASHA. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact Patricia at (503) 656-3861 or wildbyrdy2@msn.com.

BIO:
Dasha is a 12 year old, 11 lb female longhair black and tan Dachshund. Her elderly parents are no longer able to give her the care she needs, so they have made the brave choice to take her best interests to heart and are looking to re-home her. Here is more info about Dasha:

She loves humans, not good with cats
She loves walks and her stuffed toys!
Her current parents say she acts like a puppy despite her age and looooves cuddling!

Unfortunately, ODR, Inc. is full and cannot take Dasha in. If you or anyone you know can help, please share this email or contact Dasha's current parent, Patricia at (503) 656-3861 or wildbyrdy2@msn.com.

Please note that this is a Courtesy Listing for a doxie that is NOT at Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc, ODR-Inc cannot make any guarantees or claims about this doxie...we are just helping to network her and help them find her forever family. For information, please contact Patricia at (503) 656-3861 or wildbyrdy2@msn.com directly.

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
