Elsa's Story...
Elsa is a Lab/Pointer/Hound mix puppy (guess) around 4 months old and came to our rescue in MD from a shelter in SC in September. She is adorable and should do well in most homes. She is very sweet, good with dogs and kids, house and crate trained. Please view www.puppiesareworthsaving.com for policies and adoption information. Her adoption fee is $300 and she is spayed, microchipped, 100% vaccinated, and trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elsa, a Forest Hill Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Forest Hill, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Forest Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
