Peanut Butter's Story...
Hi my name is Peanut Butter! My rescuers named me that because I am the color of peanut butter! I am approximately 3yrs young and about 40lbs. I lived my life outside chained to a tree. I was very sad. I have had a very rough life and am ready to find a home where I can be loved and spend time inside and outside with my new I love to play with other dogs but have not been around cats enough to know if I like them or not. I am scared of thunder because I was left outside in many thunderstorms but I am sure if you take me home you will keep me safe. I love to snuggle with my humans and cant wait to find just the right family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut Butter, a Providence Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Providence, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
