My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This Big and Beautiful girl is Bessie. She is the most loving dog you could meet. She is estimated to be 7 years old. She is people, dog and cat friendly. She came from Cleveland Animal Control at a whopping 95 lbs of love! We did a thyroid test to be sure she did not have a medical issue causing her weight gain and low and behold she will just need some good old exercise and more green beans instead of pizza crust! HA! Her bloodwork is good so this girl is now on a diet. We want her to reach a healthy weight of 75 lbs.
She is in foster care doing wonderful. Stay tuned for more photos. Adopters must be homeowners due to her breed. Adoption fee 150.00 ****Update 10/31 - Bessie was on diet food and going to Camp Bow Wow daily in doggie daycare so she has lost 12 lbs.....WOW. This dog is a gem!! Update 2/6: Bessie loves her foster home b/c it is quiet but she does have a yard to run around in if she chooses. She hates being crated and will just snooze all day on the couch. She is now 80 lbs now, healthy and loving life. She would prefer to snuggle in bed with you at night but her foster mom makes her sleep on a dog bed. Well, a girl can try to get what she wants, can't she! HA!
