Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hooch is approximately 3 years old. He is good with some small dogs, and most females his own size. He loves to play with them. He has not been fully tested with other males his own size for lack of a friendly male to introduce him to. He is a happy friendly boy, who will make his new owner fall in love with him and proud parents. He is one awesome dog. He has some basic obedience skills, that could be sharpened, but he is respectful and really tries to figure out what you are asking of him. He doesn't jump on people, and have not seen him be aggressive to people, with the exception of growling at some young children, for no apparent reason. I would But don't let that fool you, he is still 100% rottweiler and if put in a situation where he feels the need to protect his family,I'm certain he would not hesitate to step up. He is strong and confident and calm. He is smart and eager to please and have fun. This one won't last long! He is our favorite rotten Rottie available for adoption right now. We have not seen Hooch interact with small children, but I'm betting he will do fine with them. With any rottweiler you should supervise your children and your dog at all times.
