Lilly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lilly's Story...
Lilly came into our rescue several weeks ago from New Britain Animal Control.

She is the most adorable little girl!

Everyone who meets her falls in love with her - it's easy to do because she is a truly good girl, as well as being cute as they come!

She has settled into her foster home, and is relaxing and enjoying life. Her foster mom says that her daughter is in love with her, and that Lilly is incredibly cute!

At just about a year old, she is a tiny chihuahua with an incredibly winning personality. Lilly just loves everyone - except for other dogs, so she will need to be an only dog. She hasn't yet been cat tested.

Lilly will be spayed very soon, and then she'll be ready for a wonderful forever home .... which we are sure won't be hard for her to find!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Groton Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Groton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
