My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LUCY is a 3 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 63 pounds. She is a sweet girl who will need to continue with her obedience training and get exercise on a regular basis. She's learning good manners from her new brother in foster care and is looking for a loving family that will teach her how to be a perfect companion. She's smart and knows her commands and does well on the leash. So far she loves romping around in the water, playing fetch, and wrestling around with her furry friends.Lucy needs an experienced adopter dedicated to exercising her and continuing with her training. Needs a fenced-in yard. No invisible fence Lucy is good with other dogs. We don't know how she is with cats, and because she can be mouthy, right now she's approved for kids 16 +.

Update:: Lucy is doing well. She gets excited when playing with other dogs, so she needs to be matched with the right playmate. She continues to reinforce what she's learned so far and still working on the jumping up and down. She does great in the crate and is housetrained. She walks well on her harness. She is very treat driven so teaching her commands isn't an issue. She needs someone willing to take her on good walks as opposed to just letting her out into a yard to do her business and entertain herself. She loves to cuddle and get belly rubs and isn't a fan of sleeping on the floor she prefers to stretch out on the couch after we have gone to bed.

Update: This fun energetic gal loves playing with her friends, fetching, swimming, and all the other exciting things life has to offer her. She also likes to enjoy the finer things like cuddling up on the couch and watching a good movie or being pampered with bath time and being brushed. Lucy is very playful so she is approved for kids 16+ but she is also a very smart girl and learning her manners very quickly. She's a master of her commands and will even sit pretty and roll over. Lucy girl is learning new things every day and looking for a forever family to give her lots of love and exercise so that she can keep this happy smile on her face. She loves to go for walks, and wants a human that wants to engage with her in play. She is fantastic on the leash, and would love someone to take her running or jogging.
