good with kids and good with dogs.
I am good with kids and good with dogs.
Meet Gus! He was pulled from animal control when no one claimed him. He is about 5-7 years old, very obedient, and seems to get along great with other dogs. He loves to play and have fun but is pretty laid back. If you're looking for an awesome dog, contact us about this big guy!
True Companion Animal Rescue is a small, volunteer-run rescue. Founded in Febriary 2013, TCAR runs strictly off of foster families, donations, and volunteers. TCAR is willing to take any dog or cat in need of temporary shelter while waiting to find his/her forever home. The volunteers and foster families of TCAR work hard and dedicate a lot of time and effort to the pets. Everyone is involved for the welfare of the pets and donate their time and money out of the goodness of their hearts.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Meet and Greets are by appointment only since all of our pets are in foster homes. Please contact TCAR if you are interested in meeting one of our lovable animals!
Our Adoption Process...
The adoption application is the first step to adopting a pet. After the application is in, references and home visits will be conducted. If rescue and adopter agree upon the pet going to their new home, an adoption agreement is required to be signed. Suggested donations for adoption are as follows:
Dogs: $150.00 Puppies (8 months and under): $200.00 Cats: $50.00 Kittens (8 months and under): $100.00
These donations help defer the costs of vaccines, spay/neuter, etc.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
