My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome guy is Dingo. He's a 2 year old Boxer Shepherd mix. Dingo was found as a stray and then rescued from the Lorain County Kennel. He's a friendly boy with lots of energy.

Dingo has been in training at the Grafton Correctional Institute the last several months. He will be a proud Prison Graduate soon and available for adoption and back at Friendship on Friday, September 23, 2016. He has been trained in basic commands, obedience, proper leash walking, manners and house training.

Friendship is now accepting applications for Dingo's adoption. Stop by the shelter and fill out an app. If you live a distance away, please call 440-322-4321 to see if you can fax an adoption app in. Please do NOT email apps to the adoption email. Adoption applications can be found on the website at friendshipapl.org. Click on ADOPT-Dogs and Puppies.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
