My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ginger is a 9 month old affectionate Hound/Shepherd mix that was adopted from Friendship when she was 8 weeks old and returned a few months later. Upon her return she was immediately placed in the Prison Dog Training Program and has been in training the last several months. Ginger has been trained in basic commands, obedience, proper leash walking and manners.

She will become a proud Prison Graduate on Friday, 09-23-2016 and will be returning to Friendship on that day and available for adoption. Adoption applications are now being accepted. Stop by the shelter and fill out an app. If you live a distance away, please call 440-322-4321 to see if you can fax an adoption app in. Please do NOT email apps to the adoption email. Adoption applications can be found on the website at friendshipapl.org. Click on ADOPT-Dogs and Puppies.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
