My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Tank, I am a two year old Retrieve Lab/Dalmatian mix. My foster mom and me are not sure about where my "mix" comes from but I have beautiful brown spots on my ears and ALL over my skin that you can see through my bright white coat. My eyes are a golden brown accented by what my foster mom says is "black eyeliner", so my eyes really look spectacular. I am young, energetic boy who enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes. My foster mom is still evaluating me on my energy level and how well I play with smaller dogs, but as of right now, I am getting an A+ because I am gentle with the little ones and save my rough play for the big guys. I like to eat, wouldn't mind helping my other dog friends clean their bowls but I am okay waiting while the slow pokes finish. I am super smart, my foster mom has a set of hanging bells on the door to go outside, o yeah, you guessed it, in less than a day I knew what I needed to do to go outside to go potty. Yes I am potty trained and like to go outside, I sit on command, I will shake "paws" with you and love to cuddle, (no seriously I love to cuddle). I am working on my leash training, as I LOVE walks and get a little excited to go, go, go. My foster mom put a gentle leader on me, and I am already walking quietly next to her, ( I mean right next to her, quietly, it's amazing who knew that's what my human friends wanted me to do, woof). I will admit I do make it look easy but I will need some practice to get use to it, but my foster mom thinks as fast as I learn things, I will be walking like a prince in no time at all. I will go in a crate for you if you want me to but would rather hang with everyone else. I really like sleeping (snuggling close to my humans) with my humans but would be okay with my dog buddy. I am well behaved and like to ride in the car. Tank is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchipped, de-wormed, and neutered. Tank’s adoption fee is $250.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS.
