My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Fritz! I’m a 4 month old Terrier/Shih Tzu mix, and I am ready to find my forever family! I am a sweet, fun loving, energetic little boy. It is good that my spirit is strong, because life was “ruff” for a minute there! One day, not too long ago, I woke up and found myself at a shelter. If that wasn’t bad enough, they had no more room left on the inside and I had to stay outside for a little while. Thank goodness All About Paws saw a picture of me, and came to take me to a comfy foster home. Since I’m still a puppy, I will need a lot of attention and play time! I just love playing with toys. I already like to play fetch, and I will even play with toys by myself sometimes. I enjoy my doggie foster siblings, but sometimes I just want to play so much, they can get annoyed. I just don’t understand why they don’t want to play ALL THE TIME.  So, I would be happy with doggie brothers or sisters, if they would want to play with me too! I’m learning to potty outside; I go potty as soon as I feel the grass under my toes! When I’m inside, if I really have to go, I can usually hit the target on my potty pad; but I hold it for a good while for only being 4 months old. I will need a fenced yard of my own, so that I can run around real good and use up some of my fun energy. It would also be nice to take walks or jogs on a leash with my new family! I really need a family that will spend time with me. If I am left alone too long all the time, I would feel so left out and sad that I might not be able to be the best pup that I so want to be! By the way, human kid siblings would be fun for me too! They just have to understand that I’m a puppy right now, and need some good taking care of. I would just love to learn some new tricks and have some training, to keep my brain busy and bright! My foster mom thinks I’m super smart; and I think so too! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, fill out an application and write my name on it, so that everybody knows I’m the one you want the most! Fritz is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchipped, de-wormed, and neutered. Fritz’s adoption fee is $350.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application, please go to our website at aaprescue.org.
