Rayne's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rayne's Story...
Rayne came into our rescue from Meriden Animal Control, after he was surrendered to them by his owner. They reached out to us for help - we met him and fell head over heels in love with him - and said YES, of course we'd help!

Rayne is also truly a good boy :) He has come to several of our adoption events, and everyone who meets him falls in love with him. This guy has it all - looks and personality!

He even won first prize in the talent show at the Bow Wow Bark in the Park event he attended recently!

He is just fine with everyone - dogs, cats, and children. He'll do best in a home with children 10 years old or older as he's an energetic dog who could easily bowl over little ones. He loves to play but he is also a wonderful cuddler.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rayne, a Groton American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Groton, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
