Pocahontas's Story...
Pocahontas aka Poca is available for adoption! She is estimated to be a 2-3 year old Cattle Dog Labrador mix. She was found on the Indian Reservation in Arizona with her 7 puppies earlier this year. Her pups have found homes, so it is now her time to find hers. She would do great in a home with another dog! Her current foster home has 2 other dogs and 2 cats that she does fine with. She loves going for walks or anything outside. Poca is one of the sweetest pups you will ever meet! Her $150 adoption fee includes her spay, registered microchip, rabies vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, and DHPP vaccination. She is negative for Valley Fever, Tick Fever, and Heartworm. If you are interested in meeting Poca, please email usa.dogs@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pocahontas, a Gilbert Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
