Ruby's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING

Meet Ruby, a cute and spunky 6 month old golden retriever puppy. Ruby is sweet, playful, and cuddly. She is also ALL puppy. Her foster family is working to break some of her bad puppy habits…jumping up on people, mouthing people, and barking for attention. She is learning to play with other dogs and has just started potty training. She enjoys her walks, and is walking well with the help of a gentle leader. Ruby loves swimming so having a home with a pool would be wonderful for her. She will need obedience training, continued socialization with other dogs, and lots of exercise and play. Structure and consistency will be important as Ruby can be stubborn. Her forever family should be prepared to devote time, energy, and patience to help Ruby reach her potential to be an amazing companion. Ruby is being fostered in the LA area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Torrance Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
