Who says laps are just for little dogs? I may be a 50 pound Lab mix, but I am every bit as cuddly as those little yappy dogs! I am a very handsome dog – a gorgeous mix of Lab and Boxer. I am such an easygoing, submissive dog. I get along with everybody and every pet. I LOVE children.

I am very healthy and just 5 years old. I have been neutered, am up to date on shots and microchipped. I have been very well trained. I am crate trained, house trained and leash trained All in all – the perfect family companion.

I am the beloved companion of a single woman who recently moved to the Dallas Ft Worth area. She and I have been best friends since I was a puppy. She has given me exceptional care and lots of love throughout our time together.

As much as it breaks her heart, she realizes that it will be best to find me a new home. She is working 12 hour days, and I a left home in a crate by myself throughout each work day. I am very good about this, but it is not an ideal situation for me. She loves me so much, and wants the very best for me.

My ideal home will be with a family, couple or single who have lots of time to spend with me and don’t need to leave me home all day by myself. I would love some great older kids to play with, and a nice, securely fenced yard to romp around in. Above all, I want people who will cherish me and allow me to adore them in my special way. I am such a happy, devoted dog. I will add plenty of love, joy, laughter and companionship to your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roman the LOVE Dog!, a Dallas Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
