RUBY (Courtesy Post)'s Story...
Hi I'm Ruby!!! I am a VERY sweet lovable girl who is looking for her forever home!! I was abandoned near a vet clinic and they were nice enough to take me in and that's where I am currently staying...but have been here for 3 MONTHS and am SOOO ready for a home to call my home for Christmas!! I am around 1.5 years old and still have a lot of puppy energy. I am a very good listener and know how to sit and even walk well off leash! I have been friendly with the other dogs at the clinic....I pretty much love everyone!! I would probably be okay with cats but may chase them to play! Because I still have a lot of puppy in me I would do best in a home with older kids because I may knock down little ones on accident. I am already spayed, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. If you are looking for a SUPER SWEET girl look no further!!! Will you be my forever family???

Ruby is a courtesy posting. Please contact Heather Jeffcoat at hbjeffcoat@gmail.com or text/call (205) 260-9337 if interested in meeting Ruby. Thank you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RUBY (Courtesy Post), a Birmingham Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Birmingham, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Birmingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Birmingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Birmingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Birmingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
