My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Sundae and everyone originally thought my name was Saturday….go figure! So, you might recognize me by that name.

I am 50 years old and I was loved very much by my original owner for 50 years, who recently passed away. I was locked in a room with my furry cat friend, which seemed like forever, but I really think it was only for a day or so, until some nice people saved us.
Everyone believes I am a Hybrid Moluccan and Umbrella Cockatoo, but I am the one who really knows for sure.. hehe

As you can tell by my photo, I am so beautiful and I am very loving to anyone who crosses my path, provided I am not busy playing with my ice cream sticks… Hmm Ice Cream Sundae, Ice Cream Sticks, that is a familiar name. Oh, that is right, that is my name.
I love my new foster mommy and she has great parents and a son who lives with her and they all like me so much. I look forward to when she comes home from work so we can play and snuggle together.

My diet consists of, pellets, seeds, nuts, assortment of fruits and vegetables. I have a soft spot for almonds in the shell and oatmeal. Oh, and that cinnamon stick that comes in my food is very tasty to chew up as well.

I only like to be in my cage when I go to bed at night. Otherwise, I like to be out and about with the family. I will bring you trinkets and snacks to share with you.
I am not very noisy, but I do let you know when it is bed time or I might be wanting some additional attention.

I have one sentence I say over and over and my foster Mommy is still trying to figure out what it is. Something about a baby.

Maybe you would like to come meet me and see if YOU can figure out what I'm saying? I know I would just fit right in with your family, I so want to find my forever home.

Thanks for stopping by!
