Harley's Story...
Hey, there. Little Harley here. I was an owner surrender at the kill shelter without any real interest online or locally. Can you believe it? Nope, neither can the peeps here. Must be my gray beard. Some people just don’t respect the beard. I act like a puppy, though, so … their loss.

I am an absolutely adorable, happy-go-lucky Jack mix around 15 lbs. who smiles and wags a lot. I’m easygoing and enjoy treats and being with people. Other dogs don’t bother me, either.

I have some skin issues from fleas, but that ain’t no big thing. I’m heartworm negative and ready to roll. The vet thinks I am about 5-6 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Conyers Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Conyers, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Conyers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conyers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conyers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conyers paves the way for another one to be saved.
