Bullmastiff Mix Dog for adoption in North Kingstown, Rhode Island - Stewie

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Stewie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Stewie's Story...
Stewart (aka Stewie, aka Big Grey) is an approximately 5 year old, very large, male, mastiff mix. Stewie is an overall mellow guy, his energy level is low-ish. He likes to go for walks, have snacks and LOVES to have that big booty scratched! Despite his size, Stewie is not a tough guy. He has demonstrated some fear of large objects and noisy things, such as weed whackers, vaccums, etc. We have been working with him to help him overcome his fear of these things. Stewie will do best with experienced dog owners who are able to continue to help him be comfortable with the sounds of daily life in a human household. Stewie cannot live with cats. Stewie’s adoption fee includes two in-home training sessions with a professional dog trainer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stewie, a North Kingstown Bullmastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff for sale in North Kingstown, or seeking a Bullmastiff dog from a breeder in North Kingstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Kingstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Kingstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff breeders who help with Bullmastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Kingstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
