JoJo's Story...
Are you looking for a laid back buddy who will keep you company and be your FORever companion? JoJo may just be your boy! He is a very affectionate and loving 6 year old, 65 lb retriever mix. He is a distinguished gentleman with lots of love to give. Calm and laid back, he would be the perfect addition to any family, and would love to have someone who is home regularly and can spend time with him. He loves treats and he loves to be outside, but most of all he just loves to be around people. He does great with other cats and dogs, but nothing matches his excitement when he’s getting love and attention from one of his people. He rides great in the car and he likes sticking his head out the window on the way to the park: he also loves to take leisurely walks and he is fantastic on a leash, walking right beside you. He likes his crate and will usually go into it on his own.

JoJo has been neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, he is heartworm negative and is current on Trifexis. JoJo is eager to find a place called "home".

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JoJo, a Chattanooga Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
