Mario's Story...
Mario, 2 years old, male, 56 lbs.

Mario is pretty super in our eyes, so we call him Super Marion here at the shelter! Mario is still a playful pup and loves some tug of war time with his favorite people. We haven't gotten a chance to test Mario with other animals. However, he does have a dominant personality and will probably do best as an only pet or with a very submissive dog.

Because of Marios size and playfulness, we recommend children in the home be at least 10 years old and dog savy.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Prince George, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Prince George.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prince George already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prince George breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
