My story

Hi my name is Chuy, and I'm a female, 8 year old Chihuahua who was turned into the shelter by my owner because I have too much energy. Yep, I may be 8 but I do like to run around, jump around, go for walks - that doesn't sound too bad to me. I am full of myself too - I love to bark at the big dogs at the shelter, letting them know that I may be small in stature but I'm not afraid of anything - especially big dogs and I'm also pretty feisty - letting all the volunteers know when I'm happy and when I'm not. I probably should not go to a home with small kids. Even though I like to run around, I will easily trade that to be able to sit in someone's lap - I love to be snuggled. If you're looking for a little girl with a BIG personality, please stop by the shelter to meet me today.
