Desi -ADOPTION PENDING!'s Story...
Desi is a handsome, happy guy, especially after being sprung from the shelter! He loves to be next to you, either on your lap, or lay by your feet. He enjoys going for walks and car rides. Desi does have some visual impairment and we will be having him see an eye specialist to evaluate him. Desi would love to find a family who would love him and include him on all the family activities! Desi came to us from one of the Sacramento shelters - he was a stray that no one came to look for. He is about 8 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Desi -ADOPTION PENDING!, a Sacramento Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
