found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Joshua Bubbles was spotted in the front yard of a home, near the road one day. The rescuer that spotted him pulled over and JB came right to her. She knocked on the doors nearby and found the “owners”. It was shared that they had recently found him after he had been attacked by two larger dogs in the backyard of a resident. The dogs were purposely let out to attack JB. Someone stepped forward, pick JB up by his hind leg, and threw him over a fence. Neighbors shooed him out of their yard until he finally settled in a drainage ditch. Once there, a good samaritan found him but had nowhere to put him so JB was provided shelter, water, and food in her backyard. They agreed to allow the rescuer to take Joshua Bubbles in under Paw Huggers Animal Rescue, so he could get the medical attention he needed. Even after all JB has been through, he is the most patient, tolerant, kind-hearted dog. His still loves humans and other dogs. He gives kiss after kiss and wants to snuggle in your lap all day!
JB has since had x-rays and they determined he had a fractured pelvis but it is healing and he is doing well. The only time it poses an issue is if he has had a long day of playing with his foster siblings. JB is great with other dogs and children. He is completely house and crate trained! He loves attention and prefers to be sitting with you; however, does well in his pen resting also! JB is incredibly mild mannered, loving, and is truly thankful to be off the street. He has been nothing but tolerant and patient with us as we give him meds, cut the mats from his hair, and give him numerous baths to get the stink off him. He has been so incredibly sweet!
We believe Joshua Bubbles is a Schnauzer and the Veterinarian said he is about 5 years old and weighs about 16 pounds.
Heartworms are very common in the strays found in the Houston area because they are transmitted by mosquitos, which are also very common. Unfortunately, JB has heartworms, but has started his treatment to be cured of them within the year and his medications are included in his adoption.
**Joshua Bubbles is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in his foster home. He is ready to find his family to complete his transformation. If our sweet boy sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at email@example.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application. His adoption fee is $500 to help cover the cost of his airline flight and his travel crate.
