Levi's Story...
The Blue Jeans Kittens are Russian Blue mixes who were rescued as strays in Northern Virginia along with their mom, Bongo, and came to 4Paws to find forever homes. They either need to be adopted in pairs or to homes with another young and active pet companion they can play with.

Levi is the biggest boy kitten. He loves to flop himself over on top of your feet and roll around for attention. He'll run around with his mouse toys in his mouth, chasing after them and batting at them with his paws. Levi also likes to sit on laps and lay there purring while you pet him. He has a big personality and will stand on his hind legs and demand more petting.

Calvin is the most confident and laid back girl (with a tomboy name), she's the medium size kitten and loves sitting on your shoulder, hanging out and purring. She likes being held and will head butt your face. She likes grooming herself, her siblings or her mom, or even your hand or face while you pet her. She's also quite playful, always batting her toys around in the bathtub.

Jordache is the smallest female, and she's a really sweet kitten. She likes getting tummy rubs and will meow at you with her small squeaky meow to get more attention or call one of her siblings over. Jordache likes to wrestle with her toys and will kick at them with her little back feet. She'll sit with you in your lap while you scratch her chin and cheeks.

The Blue Jeans Kittens were born on June 27th, 2016. They've been micro-chipped, are current on shots for their age, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Levi, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
