A new season means “New Beginnings”, what better time to have a new four legged friend join your family. Fall is a perfect time for crisp walks with your furry friend, pumpkin picking and relaxing with some apple cider by the blazing fire! Meet our autumn pups… The four boys in the family are Spider, who’s full of fun, Blaze, reminiscent of fall fireplaces, cracklin’ and poppin’, Boo who loves to play hide and seek and Gordy, our littlest pooch in the patch! The two gals who are more marble in color, are Sienna with her gorgeous coat and Aspen with her entertaining and loving personality! We are 8 weeks old and said to be lab mixes but I believe we could have some boxer/hound in us too. We are up to date on age appropriate vaccines and would love to meet you this Saturday at Pequannock Feed and Pet Supply in West Milford from 10 to 2.

About Close to Home Rescue & Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

Close to Home Rescue & Sanctuary is dedicated to saving homeless, abandoned and injured domestic animals. Our organization cares for them medically and emotionally until a permanent, loving home is found. We also provide a safe and loving home to those animals that are unadoptable. Close to Home Rescue strives to educate the public on the importance of proper medical care for their pets, such as routine vaccinations, HW medication, flea and tick preventative and the benefits of spaying and neutering. We also help assist families in need to locate low cost medical services for their pets
Close to Home Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc, works with children ages 7-17 to complete community service hours needed for their school and church programs. We are very proud to have this program to educate our society’s children on how to be responsible caring individuals to animals. They will be our future pet owners and hopefully advocates for the next generations outlook on how to help our world be kinder and more connected to the needs of the animal population
